It then explores practical approaches to minimisation, emphasising the importance of person-centred care. Innovative programmes and approaches to reducing the use of restraints around the world are described and evaluated, and case studies are developed to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><\/a>highlighting practical challenges and their effective solutions. The perspectives of older people and their carers and families as well as professionals are also considered. The co-authors are drawn from the international health and social care community, as well as from academia.
