One factor may be the flood of health information available from various sources. However, how the acquisition of health information affects patient trust remains unclear. In particular, the acquisition of information through traditional media (e.g. newspaper, television)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>declined, but increased in new media (e.g. online).
